About restaurant

Wood-fired fish, hand-rolled pasta and vegetables from farms we know by name, cooked with patience and served without fuss.

We opened in 1998 with twelve tables and one simple idea: cook what the season gives us and treat every guest like family. The room is bigger now, but the menu still follows the market and the bread still comes out of the oven every morning.

Mission

Cook seasonally, waste nothing and look after the people who grow, catch and serve our food.

Every decision in our kitchen starts with these three promises. They decide which farms we buy from, how we plan the menu and how we treat our team, and they are the reason so many of our cooks have been with us for more than ten years.
